Greater Louisville Inc.’s Tosha Ridenour Selected for Prestigious National Fellowship

Louisville, Ky. (January 18, 2022) –The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced today that Greater Louisville Inc.’s (GLI) manager of talent outreach & engagement, Tosha Ridenour, was selected for the sixth cohort of its premiere business leadership program. The Business Leads Fellowship Program coaches and equips leaders from state and local chambers of commerce, economic development agencies, and trade associations with resources, access to experts in the field, and a network of peers to develop their skills needed to address the most pressing education and workforce challenges.

Ridenour was selected following a competitive application and selection process, along with 34 other business leaders, to participate in the program. The yearlong virtual program will conclude with an in-person meeting and cover the entire talent pipeline, including early childhood education, K-12, postsecondary education, and workforce development.

“I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to learn from an array of experts from the workforce, government, business, and education sectors. My personal career pathway has led me through exciting and rewarding roles, but not without dedication, creativity, and perseverance,” said Ridenour. “I believe that every individual has potential, and it’s my personal goal to help people maximize and achieve their career goals through mentorship, professional development, and establishing career connections.”

At the culmination of the program, Business Leads Fellows will connect with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s network of 200+ chambers of commerce and statewide associations from across the U.S. who regularly meet to discuss education and talent/workforce initiatives.

“We are very excited Tosha was selected for this opportunity, where she will hone her skills with other experts in the field to shape GLI’s initiatives on talent in the future. She is enthusiastic and passionate about her work, and we are thrilled for her to display her passions on a national stage,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI.

“We created the Business Leads Fellowship Program in response to the needs of our state and local chamber partners. They, better than anyone, see the critical link between education and economic development, and we are glad to be able to support them as they take on this critical leadership role in their community,” said Cheryl Oldham, Senior Vice President of the Center for Education and Workforce.
