Following the Kentucky General Assembly’s passage of House Bill 1, Greater Louisville Inc. president and CEO, Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, issued the following statement:

“GLI commends the Kentucky General Assembly for passing House Bill 1 to again lower the state’s personal income tax. Reducing and eventually eliminating the personal income tax has been a long-term priority for the Greater Louisville business community and will be pivotal for attracting and retaining businesses, talent, and investment. HB 1 moves Kentucky’s income tax to 3.5 percent and builds on reforms made in the past few years to strengthen our economy and create a more competitive tax model.”
