Greater Louisville Inc. president and CEO, Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, issued the following statement following the Senate Education Committee’s passage of Senate Bill 83:

“We are deeply concerned by the Kentucky Senate’s advancement of Senate Bill 83 which could directly harm our regional economy. To maintain a thriving economy, we must create policies that allow our community to embrace and celebrate all races, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. GLI will continue to oppose any unwelcoming or discriminatory policies that could be harmful to talent attraction and retention.”
