Describe what your organization does in two sentences. The mission of Harbor House is to empower Individuals and their families to lead fulfilled and productive lives.

Who do you serve? Adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in Louisville and surrounding areas.

One fact you may not know about my organization is… Each year we host the Ken-Ducky Derby on the Waterfront where we drop at least 46,000 rubber ducks in the Ohio River. All proceeds from this event support the programs we offer to empower the individuals we serve.

What sets your business apart from others in the way you attract and retain talent? We have been providing supports and pushing for inclusion and diversity for nearly 30 years.

What do you like about being an investor in Greater Louisville Inc.? We enjoy being an investor in GLI because of the partnerships we have developed with other businesses. GLI allows us to be aware of, and a part of what’s going on in our community.

How does your organization engage in the community? Throughout the year we host several events that bring the community together. Also, the individuals we serve give back to their community by volunteering with time, talent, and treasure.
