Describe what your organization does in two sentences. We are a complete solutions provider for a wide variety of vocations. We offer uplifting Knapheide work truck bodies and accessories, and equipment from top vehicle suppliers nationwide.

Who do you serve? We serve commercial truck dealers and end users in North Central Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Southwest Ohio. We also serve large fleet organizations.

One fact you may not know about my organization is… Knapheide began as a wagon company in 1848 and also made cabs for the Ford Model T.

What sets your business apart from others in the way you attract and retain talent? Knapheide is a family-owned business run by the sixth generation of the Knapheide family. We take care of our employees and have some that have been with us for as many as 50 years!

What do you like about being an investor in Greater Louisville Inc.? We get a great opportunity to network with local vendors and customers. As a relatively new facility locally, it allows us to spread the word of our presence here, letting others know we are here to provide them with complete work truck solutions.

How does your organization engage in the community? Knapheide participates in many community events, such as Toys for Tots, and does a canned food drive, coat drive, and toy drive every year. One hundred percent of the contributions come from our generous employees.
