Greater Louisville Inc. reaffirms commitment to Downtown Louisville, announces move to PNC Tower

Louisville, Ky. (February 6, 2023) – Greater Louisville Inc. today announced plans to relocate its offices to the PNC Tower located at 101 South Fifth Street later this summer. The move comes after a thorough search process of Downtown real estate and reaffirms GLI’s commitment to investing in and maintaining its presence in Louisville’s Central Business District.

The new space will span nearly 17,000 square feet and take up the entire 23rd floor of the PNC Tower. In addition to 11 offices and 40 workstations, the space will also have five conference rooms available to all GLI investors, and a board room that can seat up to 80. The space will also include amenities such as a mothers’ room, staff library, and work café.

“Throughout our organization’s history and five different office spaces, we have never wavered on our commitment to Downtown. I am thrilled to join many of our investors in the PNC Tower and grow our reach as an organization from one of our city’s tallest and most recognizable buildings,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI.

GLI has been at its 614 West Main headquarters since 2002, when the organization become the anchor tenant to begin construction of the six-story office tower. GLI’s commitment to the space helped the project move forward and fill a gap in the historic stretch of Downtown.

Construction of the PNC Tower space is underway and is expected to be complete during the third quarter of 2023. GLI investors have already begun to provide critical funding for the move and new space, including lead funding from Humana for one of the conference rooms, funding from Baird for the boardroom and HR Affiliates for the Investment Department workspace, and support from GE Appliances to outfit the work café space. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available. For information on available opportunities, contact Rebecca Wood.

“This new office will be fit for the high caliber work and results GLI produces every day,” said Russ Cox, 2023 chair of the GLI Board of Directors and president and CEO of Norton Healthcare. “With so many growing areas of our city, GLI’s strategic commitment to remaining downtown underscores their dedication to our business community and community as a whole. GLI believes in Downtown and will continue being a critical thread to the fabric of its growth and development.”
