“The Healthcare Fellows is the signature program of the Health Enterprises Network, and for more than 18 years it has cultivated some of our region’s top leaders in the healthcare industry,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI. “I commend each of the graduates for their dedication to growing professionally and expanding their reach in one of our region’s leading industries.” Over the last 10 months, fellows were challenged to hone their leadership abilities, develop their health-related knowledge, and expand their professional network through monthly sessions with community leaders, academics, elected officials, organizational experts, researchers, and entrepreneurs in the sector. Program days included a tour of UPS Healthcare facilities, analysis of workforce development strategies in the region, and a review of Louisville’s competitive advantages as the aging care capital of the world. “I am pleased to have worked alongside this year’s cohort of Healthcare Fellows as they developed new professional relationships across the extensive regional healthcare ecosystem,” said Logan Gatti, director of Healthcare Enterprises Network. “I am confident that the learning and networking opportunities this program provided has given the fellows a chance to build connections and set themselves up for continued professional success.” To learn more about the Healthcare Fellows, including the 350 program alumni, click here.
